Description:
This unit describes characteristics of and discusses appropriate Emergency Medical Dispatch (EMD) responses to complaints indicating choking, inhalation of carbon monoxide or other dangerous gas, hazardous material (HAZMAT) encounters, and cardiac arrest. It also describes characteristics of and discusses appropriate Emergency Medical Dispatch (EMD) responses to complaints indicating electrocution, drowning, childbirth, and fainting.
